Background & Research Interests:
Dr. Li spent one year collecting specimens of North American Smilax, and applying gene sequence and AFLP data to understand relationships among disjunt species within Smilax section Nemexia. He is currently a Lecturer at his alma mater Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.
